1. Be impeccably groomed. Better to come off as being too clean than as a slob!

2. Be considerate and polite

3. Make advance bookings and plan your route early. It won't make a good impression on your date if you both ended up late for dinner because there was a huge jam on the CTE.

4. This is really simple, but make sure you have enough credit on your credit card!! Or at least make sure you have enough cash to pay for dinner. And ladies can politely enquiry if they should foot half.

5. One way to avoid any awkardness about who's paying for what is to go to a food court. That way, you pay for your own food, and she pays for hers. But it'll be nice for the guy to pay for her drink. Thsi is normally ok if you're still young, in school or just starting work. If you've been working a few years, you should probably bring your date soemwhere more expensive!

6. When your date is talking, look into her eyes and listen carefully. Wait for her to finish speaking, and nod often. This is a sure fire way to make her feel that you are truly listening to her. Often times, w edon't look into our partners eyes enough.

7. Have a packet of tissue handy. Espcially after a meal or when you date needs to go to the restroom.

8. Suggest going for coffee and a chocolate dessert to sweeten the evening.

9. Send your date home, unless she insists you don't have to.

10. Follow up on the date by calling her the next day just to talk. If possible, set a date for the following weekend.
